Requirements to apply for Business or Tourist Visas

1. Letter of Application: directed to the Secretary of State of Foreign Relations, signed by a resident of the country or an entity established in the country.
It must contain:
a) Name, nationality, place of residence, and the profession of the interested party .
b) Relationship or parentage of the party responsible for your stay in the country.
c) If the sponsor is an individual, he must prove economic solvency, nationality, and profession.
d) If the sponsor is a company, the company must provide a written invitation signed by highest ranking official of the company indicating responsibility for the applicants

2. FORM 509-REF: One Internal Revenue Stamp of $2.00 Dominican Pesos. The Americans, Spanish, Italians, Panamanians, Mexicans, and Norwegians do not need the Internal Revenue Stamp because their visas are free of charge.

3. Three Photographs 2 X 2 front view.

4. Two complete copies of all pages of applicant's passport.

Notes:
a) The letter of application must include one original and eight copies.
b) Applications that are not complete are not accepted.
